Catalog Sales Representative
This sales position will be responsible for selling to customers who promote and sell Dover products through their own proprietary catalogs and direct marketing. Essential responsibilities include: Prospecting for, contacting and selling to potential and existing clients primarily through telephone sales presentations to meet / exceed revenue targets; Providing confident, high-energy presentations to new and existing customers to grow existing accounts and obtain new sales; Attending industry trade shows and industry events for gathering leads and new business prospecting; Measuring and reporting on performance against targets on an established periodic basis, to include written updates on newly identified revenue opportunities, current prospects, existing accounts and revised forecasts; Achieve (and exceed wherever possible) budgeted sales goals on a regular basis. Increase sales to existing customers. Qualifications include: Superior presentation skills (oral and written); Ability to build relationships primarily through the use of telephone or electronic media; 3 – 4 years of professional experience in a sales role; PC computer knowledge in a windows environment preferred. MS Word, Excel and Access strongly preferred; Must have strong organization skills and keen attention to detail, along with the demonstrated ability to handle multiple sales opportunities and tasks simultaneously; Excellent interpersonal skills. Must have effective persuasion and negotiation skills. Customer service-savvy and aggressive but professional; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

From Upstate New York:
Take the Throgs Neck Bridge to the Cross Island Parkway (Route 295) towards Eastern Long Island. Exit the Cross Island Parkway at Route 25 (Jamaica Avenue / Jericho Turnpike). Make a right turn onto Mineola Boulevard. Turn left onto 2nd Street which becomes East 2nd Street. Dover Publications is the second building on the right after the road becomes East 2nd Street.
