Marketing, List Planner
Our List Planner is responsible for planning, buying, trafficking, and tracking house and prospect lists for Dover’s consumer, education,
and trade catalogs. Candidate must have solid analytical and computer skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. Some of the essential responsibilities include: performing list analysis and historical data reviews;
developing and refining list plans for catalogs that go to consumers, educators, and retailers; assisting in the building and maintenance of the Marketing database; managing outside list brokers and data compilers in order to drive new list recommendations;
translating all list plans into queries for the internal database team in order to pull records to be sent to the merge/purge house; managing the entire merge/purge process, including writing specs, reviewing output files, setting up test panels, and
insuring that final files are sent to the appropriate printer. Qualified candidates will possess: a minimum of 5 years related work experience, preferably in publishing; previous employment as a planner on the client side or at an agency; Business-to-Consumer
and Business-to-Business list planning experience; a BA or BS in marketing or communications; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; self-starter who is motivated, works
well with others, and is well organized.
Customer Service Representative
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for ensuring that services provided to all internal and external customers of Dover Publications including
customer relations and problem resolution meet company standards. The Customer Service Representative will have in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. The Customer Service Representative will partner with the Sales team to provide
customers with service as outlined in Dover Publication’s
policies and procedures. The Customer Service Representative will address customer issues and ensure effective and long term problem resolution. Key responsibilities include: interacting with customers via phone, mail and internet regarding products,
orders and customer service needs; providing timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests; processing customer orders, changes and returns according to policy and procedure; processing Authorization
for Returns for approval by Customer Service Manager; and preparing written correspondence to answer specific questions for all customers (both wholesale and retail). Qualified candidates will possess a HS Diploma or equivalent with prior experience
in a customer service environment. Computer experience including Windows, MS Word, MS Excel and internet required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
Brand Manager, Dover Electronic Clip-Art
The Brand Manager, Dover Electronic Clip-Art will have a unique opportunity to lead the expansion of one of the publishing and design industry’s
best-known brands: “Dover Clip-Art.” In
this new position, the Brand Manager will create and execute a business plan, direct new product development, devise channel-driven sales and marketing strategies, and manage the profitable growth of Dover’s image enterprise. Near-term initiatives
will include: Driving the creation, launch and management of an online image store where images are purchased and delivered electronically; managing the growth of Dover’s Clip-Art Rack programs with major retail partners and hundreds of locations
across the country; working with Dover sales and marketing leadership to conceive new image products-both print and electronic-that address consumer, book trade, craft and professional design channels; collaborating with marketing teams to create
retail and direct-to-consumer marketing strategies, including catalog mailings, e-marketing campaigns, website, retail sales promotions. Qualified individuals should possess a four-year college degree in marketing, or related field, strong understanding

of a direct-to-end-user enterprise. Proven interpersonal skills at working productively and harmoniously within a senior management matrix and supervising direct reports. Astute analytical skills to evaluate historical sales tracks and profitability
of existing product lines as well as bottom-line performance of new product initiatives against projection. Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.

Take the Queens Midtown Tunnel to Route 495 Eastbound. Exit Route 495 at Exit 30S which
is the Cross Island Parkway. Exit the Cross Island Parkway at Route 25 Eastbound (Jamaica
Ave. / Jericho Turnpike). Make a right turn onto Mineola Boulevard. Turn left onto 2nd
Street which becomes East 2nd Street. Dover Publications is the second building on the
right after the road becomes East 2nd Street.
From Upstate New York:
Take the Throgs Neck Bridge to the Cross Island Parkway (Route 295) towards Eastern Long
Island. Exit the Cross Island Parkway at Route 25 (Jamaica Avenue / Jericho Turnpike).
Make a right turn onto Mineola Boulevard. Turn left onto 2nd Street which becomes East
2nd Street. Dover Publications is the second building on the right after the road becomes
East 2nd Street.
